Jeff Currier born in Cadillac, Michigan, but Jeff considers himself a Texan. He has been in the bicycle and fitness industry since dirt was discovered, having worked within the bicycle retail arena since 1989, within physiology labs and health clubs since 1993, as a Tech Rep for Polar Heart Rate Monitors for 9 years and finally as a bicycle industry representative for brands such as Bianchi bicycles and Rolf Wheels in the most recent years. After a successful seven year plan, Jeff graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Health and Human Performance in 1993.  He has been a Category 2 cyclist, USA Cycling coach and certified personal trainer since the early 1990′s and has raced over 300 races since that time, including an effort within the Duathlon scene in 1994 that positioned him as a top ranked (#7) age group duathlete for Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. It is at this time, Jeff would like to ask you not to comment on his age or say things like “holy crap, he must be ancient!”

Jeff’s interest in cycling and fitness is more than apparent as one can see and with this said, if one ever needs to find him, he can surely be found out on the road, accumulating some of his 200-300 miles of weekly cycling, working hard to make Striking Divas an amazing website or sitting on his bum playing, I mean working on the social networks, which by the way is a part of his job description!  In all seriousness, it is with Jeff’s passion for cycling and fitness, vast experience within these arena’s and desire to continue learning and  then share this knowledge (and self deprecating humor) that makes him an ideal addition to the Striking Divas team.

“I once prayed to god for a bike, but quickly found out he didnt work that way…so I stole a bike and prayed for his forgiveness.” ”Life’s not about waiting for the storms to pass…It’s about learning to dance in the rain.”
